By the end of trip, Lillie was tired. Here she is waving bye to the island of Hawaii! The second picture is of Lillie looking cool in her glasses!

Lillie was also educated in the art of the Hawaiian way!! By the end of the day all she wanted to do was crash on the floor of the museum, as you can see from the third picture in this set.

Grandma took us shopping all over the island and spolied Lillie to no end!! Here we are at several of the shopping places on the island!!

This is Lillie's third cousins!! She has such a big family!! She loved playing with them.

We went to see the grounds of the Kona temple. It was beautiful!

We traveled all over in a big van. Most of the time Lillie and great-grandma caught some zzz's!!

Grandma and grandpa took everyone for a short vacation on another island. We went to Kona and Hilo on the island of Hawaii. Lillie's extended family is from that island so we went to introduce her to them. The folllwoing are pictures from our trip.

Since coming to Hawaii, Lillie has so many new things to play with. She loves being at grandma's house because she gets to touch anything she wants and plays with all her new toys bought for her by grandma!!!

We finally made it to Hawaii!! This is all of us at the airport. We were soooo exhausted. The middle picture is Lillie meeting grandma for the first time!!! Grandma loves her Lillie. Kim's family owns a lei stand and this is Aunty Momi and cousin Ame with all of us!!!

This past week, the east coast hit record high temperatures of 101 degrees and 117 with the humidity!! WHOA!! That's not the kind of weather that Lillie and mommy wanted to romp around in. So, we apologize for not posting very many pictures, but we haven't really been anywhere. The weather was pretty unbearable, but mommy and Lillie were feeling a bit cooped up, so we visited Lillie's Japanese friend, Minami. This is Lillie's reaction when I say, "CHEESE".


It was very cute to watch these two. This is the first time that Lillie really PLAYED with a friend. Minami would motion Lillie to follow her to her room, and Lillie would follow. The previous picture is of Lillie and Minami sitting on a comforter in her room and just laughing.


This is a picture after church today. Lillie is showing off her tummy and belly button.
