She is such a cute girl!! She doesn't eat much candy, but she went trick-or-treating to get candy for us and her friends!! That is the spirit of Halloween!
Some other pics form this year's ward party. It is hard to believe we moved here 9 years ago ready, on Halloween!!!

Happenings in the Sakai household
Lillie played violin in a solo ensemble competition. She got a high score and went on to the state solo ensemble. We are so proud of her violin playing! Here she is playing Handle's Bouree from Suzuki Book 2, Level 2.
Our annual AP commemoration camp. All the brethren came out to camp and have a fireside honoring the Aaronic Priesthood. Pres. Volk gave a great talk and putting on the whole armor of God.
We have an annual missionary preparation seminar in which the seniors come out and have workshops on preparing to be a missionary. The highlight is when they get to go out with the full-time missionaries to proselytize.
We celebrated Kim on her birthday at the new National Harbor MGM grand hotel. We went to a Top Chef restaurant, Marcus Samuelson, and it did not disappoint.
National prayer breakfast with Elder Calderwood, of the Seventy.
The ward had a teacher appreciation night in which they nominated teachers of theirs to be honored. Lillie had a great first year in middle school. She loves Mrs. Bowen and all her teachers, but Mrs. Bowne is who was nominated. Here she is with all her students in the ward.
