HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
I'll give you three guesses...a face you say?? Look again...

Thanks to Lillie's Nana, our little trick-or-treater could be seen in the darkest of places with her glow in the dark necklace and barrettes.

Here's our little ballerina!! Sorry Mom, we opted for the Target version of a costume, instead of me creating something. Maybe next year.

Our ward decided to have a Trunk or Treat. A bunch of members decorated their car trunks and the kids went around trick or treating for candy.

Here's Lillie with some of her friends. This is the neighborhood bunny named Isabel.

Here's Mommy and her big girl.

It's Tigger...well, actually it's Isaac Cook to be exact.

What's a party without Krispy Kreme doughnuts, all frosted over just for Halloween!

Oh, did I mention just about all the adults dressed up too?!?! Keola and I decided to go as the ballerina's supportive parents!! ha ha

Here's the party!

Here are some random pictures of Lillie from the past week or so. These are the ones NOT chosen...read the next post and you'll understand.

So, about three weeks ago we looked into a casting call GAP was having. The "contest" involved sending in up to 5 pictures of kids 0-12 years old. They were looking for personality, quality photo, and overall picture. I toyed with the idea of entering Lillie and finally, on the last day of entry, I sent in 5 photos. This was only last week, but embarrassingly enough, I can only remember, for sure, 4 of the 5 pictures I sent. The last picture is the one I'm not sure of. Here are the picks for the pics!

What do you think??? Lillie is just so cute!! I took many more pictures, but these were the best of the bunch. I'm not sure if it was just the lighting or our camera, but many of the pictures weren't the best quality - pretty grainy, but I thought these showed off Lillie's "cuteness" and personality!! On November 20th, on Koday Gallery, Gap will pick the top 5 pictures in Lillie's age category. There will be a public voting of the best picture. Everyone will have to check out Kodak Gallery on the 20th, see if Lillie made the top 5, then vote!!!

A cool day lent itself to a fun time at the park. Lillie became very adventurous going down the slide on her tummy head first and feet first, climbing up the ladder and swinging all over the place. What a fun day.

Fall has finally arrived in D.C. The weather today was fantastic! A little cool and sunny. So we decided to head to the park.

I wish I got more pictures of Lillie on the slide, but as you can see she not only slides, she SWINGS!

Here are some cute close ups.

A couple of weeks ago, we went to a friend's house for a play date. Lillie and the twins found this papa san chair so much fun. The whole time, we kept calling them little birdies in the nest.

We had another pool party, but it was so long ago, I can't even remember the date. I didn't realize I hadn't posted this.

The second part of the video is Lillie showing off her sign language skills. One day at breakfast, I just started spelling her name in sign language. Lillie thought it was so neat, that she picked it up very quickly. The video just shows Lillie, Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Papa, and baby. She has since learned Ame, Na'i, and she can tell me grandma, Aunty Nani, Aunty Momi, Uncle Terry, and Koa when I spell it out. She's amazing!!
