Another great start to the school year

Lillie had brownies waiting for her when she got home from school today. Mother is so nice.

First day of second grade

Can you believe it? Second grade!! Our Lillie is growing older!

15 years!

Can you believe it? It is our 15th wedding anniversary. We decided to spend it at a resort in the country called The Homestead. It was so beautiful. Three days of good food, great fun, and great company. I love my girls, especially the one I have been with for 15 years!

I think by looking at the picture below, you would not think we were visiting camp, but a general authority was coming to speak to all the girls at camp, and he asked that all the stake presidents and wives come in church clothes. It was a nice evening with the girls.

The stake young men are at scout camp this week. We paid a visit to give a talk and spend time with the boys.

Lillie's last day of school

Lillie had a barbecue picnic to end the school year. Such wonderful memories.

Mother's Day!

We had a great day honoring our sweet mother. Had breakfast (on a Sunday, a rarity with daddy 's calling), had a great ham dinner, wonderful fudge cake, set the table with things that are special to mother, and went to the visitor's center for a violin recital. What a great day for one of the great handmaidens of the the lord.
