More Presents

Among Lillie's favorite presents include all her pillow pets. She has quite a collection now. Lillie's cousins sent her some STOMPEZE, which are house slippers that move when you walk. Nana and Papa sent some really neat gifts as well. Lillie was so happy with all her new toys. Merry Christmas.

Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas Eve at a friend's home. Although we don't really like spending time with others, we did have a nice time with some friends here in the area. We tend to like quiet times at home since we are always so busy doing things, attending meetings, and otherwise engaging in good works. This morning we spent Christmas exactly how we love it, alone, just the three of us, focussing on the real meaning of the day, immediate family and sharing in gift giving. Lillie was sure thrilled with all of her gifts. Thanks to all for sending gifts and making her day very merry! Lillie has bugged us for a dog, but we will NEVER have a dog. We are not pet people, so Lillie is always looking for stuffed dogs. We got her one last year, and this year we got another one--an Alaskan Husky, Santa also brought a little outfit for one of her pets.

Festival of Lights 2012

We were able to attend the lighting ceremony at the DC temple. It's a wonderful event to begin the season. This year was extra special because Elder Nelson was the featured speaker. Lillie was standing right in front of him when she went up to sing with all the other children.

Christmas comes to the Sakais

With Thanksgiving over we started decorating the house. We just can't wait for our favorite season of the year! The house is not entirely done yet, but here is a sneak peek.

Thanksgiving 2012

Happy Thanksgiving. We had a quiet one this year. Just the three of us. But it was fun. We decorated for Christmas and got ready for December. We enjoyed being together. We thought our dinner looked pretty good for a small party!

Grandma Keamo turned 90 years old this year

All of grandma's family on the Keamo and Kaneshige side came to celebrate. It was nice. Chinese food, a lion dance, great cake and candles! It was all very nice.

Happy Halloween

We went to Annapolis mall. It wasn't as great as we thought it would be. Hardly anyone was giving out candy. Oh well, it was fun to just be together anyway! Daddy also enjoys this holiday very much. It is such a great day to be kind to each other by giving little treats out!
