Our Lillie got a new hair style...bangs...so cute!!

Our Little Broadway Star

Lillie was in her school musical, The Wizard of Oz.  She had three starring roles.

We were so proud of her.  She did a great job.  It was a lot of work and she did so well.  

Her friend, Shelby, was the wicked witch...she did a great kob.  In fact all these children did a good job at memorizing their lines.

It was a cute play, and the children all did a great job for elementary school children.

Lillie finally got a new bed

Poor Lillie has been without a bed for so long.  We finally bought one for her a month ago and after some issues getting it delivered, it finally arrived late tonight!!  She is so happy.  

Mommy's Birthday

Happy 45th birthday mom!! For her birthday we bought her a footrest. Her foot has been hurting all of a sudden so thought she might enjoy it. Nana bought her a fancy coin purse, and a keychain. For dinner dad took us to 1789 a fancy restaurant. The food here was great.

MESA (Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement )Competition

Our little girl was in a MESA competition today.  Her group had to create a computer game and program it all.  The group did a good job.  We are so proud of her.  Below is a picture of the game.  It had a lot of animated characters against a backdrop.  The game was about internet safety.

Stake president's door was heart attacked by the primary kids.  So cute!

New Capitol Hill Building Gets a Steeple

The new Capitol Hill building is coming right along.  Today, the building got its steeple.  A few of us from the ward and neighbors, gathered together to watch the excitement.  The steeple came from fours outside of DC in southern Virginia.  It travelled on its side like this:

Everyone started to gather.  There were lots of primary children.

This picture is four of the branch president and bishops of the ward.  We all served over a period of 17 years.  Starting in 1998 until the currently serving bishop in 2015.  What a fun day.  We are looking forward to the completion of the building in September of this year.

We got a new red door!!  We were having some problems with termites...

We finally decided to have the door done.  It wasn't cheap, but we finally did it and we are happy!

Lillie turns 10!

Our little baby turns 10 years old.  Where does the time fly?  She was lucky enough to get school off because of a cold snow day!  Daddy took the day off too, so it was especially fun for everyone.  It was a quiet day.  Our Lillie is such a good girl...so smart in school, so kind and nice, always thinking of others, always worried about others.  We couldn't be luckier!  She is obedient, loving, generous, and kind, fun loving--what more could you ask for?  All she asked for was nishime for her favorite birthday dinner and chocolate cake!

She got some really fun gifts, especially from nana.  Nana really knows how to spoil her, and Lillie loves everything her nana gets her.  Nana really knows Lillie's style, so Lillie is very lucky.
