Thanksgiving Tradition

As is the Sakai family tradition, we went to Reston, VA to enjoy Thanksgiving and a lot of black Friday shopping!!  

The next day is the big town parade!!

And like a snap of a finger, Christmas is here!!

First day of middle school, well actually the second day

Our baby girl started middle school today.  We couldn't be more proud of her.  She has all honors classes, is in orchestra and is well behaved.  She is starting to catch the bus this year too.  This is the second day of school since we forgot to take a picture on the first day.

We went to see the Philadelphia temple again.  Paul served his mission here!!

We were able to connect with Elder Milan Kunz who came to visit our stake conference in June.

They presented me with a pledge to read scriptures and pray everyday.  We decided to hang it in our entry way.  It is pretty cool!

Washington DC North Mission

We have always had good relationships with the mission president here in the area.  Such is the case with President and Sister Cooke.  They will be ending their mission here in a couple of weeks.  We honored them with a little dinner and a small token of appreciation from our stake.  We will miss them very much.  They have been so wonderful to us and our stake.
